Project
Hemlock dwarf mistletoe spread modelling
A collaborative modelling project developing manuscript outputs on hemlock dwarf mistletoe spread and infection dynamics.
This project focuses on modelling hemlock dwarf mistletoe spread and infection dynamics in British Columbia forests.
The work connects forest health, spatial spread modelling, variable-retention harvesting, and decision-support questions around hemlock dwarf mistletoe.
Two thesis-derived manuscripts are in development: one on forest-edge spread and implications for variable-retention harvesting, and one on mid-rotation hemlock dwarf mistletoe infection.
