Rosalia Jaffray MASc thesis

A completed MASc thesis developing and evaluating FHOPS, an open-source machine-scheduling tool for forest operational planning.

Rosalia Jaffray's MASc thesis developed and evaluated FHOPS, the Forest Harvesting Operations Planning System, as an open-source tool for machine scheduling in forest operational planning.

The first thesis chapter, a systematic review of forest harvesting operational planning tools, has been published in the International Journal of Forest Engineering.

The second chapter, the FHOPS software paper, has been submitted to SoftwareX.

The third chapter evaluates rolling-horizon design for forest operations machine scheduling and is being rewritten for submission to the Canadian Journal of Forest Research.
