Tyler Goncalves is an MGEM intern in FRESH working on open geospatial workflows for energy and climate decision support.
His rooftop solar work develops a LiDAR-based workflow for estimating rooftop solar photovoltaic potential in Kamloops, British Columbia, under co-supervision by Naoko Ellis and Connor McGookin in UBC Chemical and Biological Engineering, with Gregory Paradis contributing as a collaborator.
Tyler is also supervised by Gregory Paradis on FRESH work connected to CLEWs-C2070, where the lab is rebuilding open forest and biomass supply modelling components for integrated climate, land, water, and energy systems analysis.
